Website Progress

I am so happy with the site progress. The Alaska road trip map is super slick – thanks to the Nomad World Map plugin. I’ve also installed a simple guestbook – I hope many people will sign it and follow us on our many trips

Travel blog progress

This morning I finally resolved the phototile plugin issue that was bothering me. This site is in pretty good shape now for our Alaska trip. Outstanding items:

 

  • Travel route map (another plugin)
  • About Us Page
  • Some Guestbook function
  • User configuration training for Jeff and Caroline.
  • Devices and gadgets gear page (Maybe combine with About Us)

Shopping for our trip

Today, Jeff and myself made a quick trip to MEC in North Vancouver to pick up some camping supplies – items that we need when we are tenting along the Dempster Highway in Alaska. We also went to Home Depot to pick up a couple Zero Gravity chairs! Yay! I always wanted one, especially when I’m reading while we are away. We paid $39 plus taxes each – quite the deal.

Preparing the 5th Wheel

Here we are sanitizing the water tank in preparation for our big trip. There are a lot of things that still need to be done and even more planning – including what are quick and easy meals we can have while away
